I have a bunch of foreign colleagues who came to Malaysia. They come from all around the Asian countries bringing snacks and biscuits as gifts. In return, I would like to buy them some snacks in return to bring back to their countries. I want something that could only be found in Malaysia. Preferably snacks and tit bits. Any suggestions?

What gifts should I get in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia?
meask!
I'm traveling in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and I would like to get gifts for friends and family back home. What gifts that are unique to this city (as well as practical or consumable) should I get for 8 people that's under RM25 each?
Answer
Located along Jalan Hang Kasturi, a few minutes away from Petaling Street, Central Market which was built in 1888 was originally a wet market. It has since been classified as a Heritage Site by the Malaysian Heritage Society and it is now a landmark for Malaysian culture and heritage. Central Market is in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and strategically located with public transportation links to all major destinations and hotels while the KL Sentral railway station is only 1 ½ km away. The KL Sentral railway station provides fast and convenient connections to most parts of Kuala Lumpur as well as to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Central Market is a one stop shopping centre for Malaysian products such as handicrafts, art, kebaya, songket, batik and the wide variety of Malaysian cuisine.
Personally,i find batik is uniquely malaysian.Try looking for lampshades made of batik.should'nt cost that much.If you ar looking for food, try some spicy dried beef shreds
