Mother's day gift around $100?

Amanda S

What's a mother's day gift for around $100?

No clothes, earrings, jewelry, etc. I also can't get her candles or candle sets nor bath/body products as I've done that the past million years.

Not going to make her anything, either. Want to buy her something nice.

Answer
Mother's Day is extremely important. It is celebrated on various ways to express our love and honor motherhood, show our gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child. One of the ways of letting her know that she is indeed valued by you is by gifting her on Mother's Day.
There are so many ways to say thank you to your dear momï¼such as,

Mother's Day Craft Gift: Craft gifts for Mother's Day are not only available for kids, also wonderful for the friend of a mom or husband with no clue what to give. You could make paper blossoms, mosaic flowerpot, coffee filter flowers, etc.

A Personalized Scrapbook for Mother: One of the most creative and thoughtful gifts is a scrapbook. Make a digital scrapbook and print out to send as an unusual yet practical Mother's Day gift.

Should i buy a gift basket worth $100 dollars in lottery tickets?

What are the odds I'll make back more than I paid for it?

Answer
Let's forget about the "gift basket". Let's just stick to the lottery tickets inside.

If there is $100 worth of lottery tickets, then you should expect to "win" approximately $50 ON AVERAGE!

That's it!

That's what the lottery companies pay out. Only about 50% of what they collect from ticket sales.

CAN you possibly get more? Well of course you can. WILL you get more than $100? Almost certainly not.

If you did this 100 times in a row - actually paid $100 on 100 separate occasions - you would likely find LESS than $100 around 99 times and MORE than $100 perhaps once IF YOU'RE LUCKY!

No matter what, you will have spend a total of $10,000 (that's $100 times 100), and you will have "won" around $5,000 for all your trouble. That would include the 1 time that you made MORE than $100 on the group of tickets!

So what will happen to you? You're only going to do this once probably. My guess will be that you will "win" somewhere between $40 and $60. If you get even 5 or 10 MORE dollars than that, you should consider yourself extremely lucky. If you get less than $40, consider yourself unlucky.

If I could make a wager on this, I would bet $10,000 that you will NOT make back the $100 that you will spend. I'd bet $100 that you'll "win" somewhere from $35 to $65 - no more, no less.
