Is this a good gift for my boyfriend's 35th birthday?

My boyfriend is turning 35 at the end of the month and I'm thinking about putting together a memory book for him. I was going to fill it with pictures and memories of our relationship with been together for 13 months. Or should I get him something that is more about him for his birthday and save the memory book for an anniversary gift?

For his birthday, he would probably like a more personal gift. The memory book is a wonderful idea ... why wait for an anniversary? Give it to him at your engagement party.
