i've been talking to this guy for about 6 months now but were not officially dating yet..we've been best friends for about 4 years & i wanted to get him something special for christmas since our relationship is to another level now..i was thinking to get him a coffee thermos from things remembered & engrave something on it..(hes obsessed with coffee & tea & NEEDS one) but i dont know what to engrave on it..something REALLY short and sweet since we're not even officially dating yet..lol any ideas or anything better than what i have in mind? thank you so much for your time!

Maybe engrave his name or initials since you aren't official. Maybe when you are official you can get an ornament engraved with "our first Christmas".

gifts for reader and gift bearers?

I am having trouble finding gifts for them. I do not want to spend a lot of money 10-15 dollars each. Anyone have any ideas? I would prefer not to get them chocolate but something more meaningful. Is a gift even necessary? Thanks.
gift bearers are people taking the food/wine up to the alter in church.

A gift is not necessary but it would be pretty rude not to give them a small token as acknowledgement. I don't know what a gift bearer is and I don't know them but I would think something small like an engraved compact, bookmark, picture frame that you can put a nice note in....
