I had 2 sears cards and one worked at Kmart but the other wouldn't.. Any Ideas why? I called the 800 automated number on the back of the card and it had a balance of 67.41, but it wouldn't work maybe because its an older card?
Sears and Kmart merged some time back.. making them more or less the same company.

I have multiple gift cards to Sears. Will Kmart accept them as well, being that they are the same company (Sears Holding)?

Yes indeed they will. Since Sears and KMart did merge now KMart gift cards and Sears gift cards will both work there.
