Ok well the guy im talkin to is also friends with my best friend,so he tells her he wants to get me towels with little hearts for valentines day.when I heard I just was likw WOW.is that an ok gift or am I trippin?

Towels? Come on, you gotta be kidding right? Who gets a girl "towels" for V-Day...?? Am I missing something here? Towels? The guy is just someone you're "Talking to" (not sure what that means, but you didn't say "steady date" or even "boyfriend" or even "close friend"...)
Why not a stuffed bear holding a heart, or candy, or hey, what about JEWELRY...these are the GOOD V-Day gifts.....What does a gift of Towels say anyway?
Ok, all that out of mysystem, the important thing to remember is how YOU feel. If YOU feel that this is a gift to "trip" over, then by all means go "trippin". I know a girl who got all teary eyed when she got new mud flaps for her pickup, so it really depends on how YOU feel.

Hey guys,
I've been with this guys for 2 months now, and he's currently far far away in europe. he mentioned to me about how he has 2 surprises for me so i'm guessing it's something for valentines day. he said i'd get one of the surprises a little later, but the other one i should find out about very soon.
because we were together for so little, i didn't even think v-day would be happening. i've never been into it really. but i guess i'll have to do something too. any ideas?
