Ok so I want anyone reading to give a quick critique of my gift choices. I appreciate your time.
So, for a Vietnamese Catholic family consisting of my 62 year old friend, his 54 year old wife, and their 14 year old daughter.
For the man: A 144-piece tool set with screwdrivers, a hammer, clippers, different wrench variations etc.
For the wife: A Homedics relaxation fountain
For the daughter: A bath set (?) that my Mom "thought was nice".... it had lotion, body wash, and some other feminine thing in there.

I need help on finding the perfect Christmas present for my mom. She's the "spa" kind, and likes anything that will make her smell good. Creams, lotions, candles, that kind of thing. But what can I do to make that special? Thanks so much.

Make her a gift basket with her favorite scent body lotion, body wash, bubble bath, a mesh scrub thing, and some bath beads. Add her favorite magazine or a nice book for her to relax with. You could even buy a relaxation CD to put in the basket with her "spa" items. If you have the money, you could also get her a gift certificate for a massage at a local massage therapy place or spa.
