Is it conventional to get a mother a gift for Easter?

Euguene Lo

If not then at least a card, right?
I'm in my 20's

Answer
I think that it depends on certain things! My mother lives an hour away, so I see her on Easter! If I was unable to see her, I would probably send an Easter card. As far as gifts go, the "Easter Bunny" usually only brings the kids gift baskets and hides candy eggs for them. I'm not sure about everyone else, but that's how we've always done it. Kids get gift baskets from the Easter Bunny and the Easter Bunny hides the eggs.

What is a good Easter gift?

So I've been seeing this girl for a month now. We've really hit it off and things are going great. I am horrible at gift giving this early in a relationship so I am hoping you ladies can help me out here. What would be a good gift to give her for Easter. She's not a flower person by the way.

Answer
.I don't really see a reason for gifting for Easter, unless you want to make up a cutesy little basket with some of her fave candy and maybe small sized scented soaps/lotions.

I would not expect an Easter gift from a guy. It's a religious holiday for some, and secularly it's when the Easter bunny comes for the kiddies. Not really an adult gift-exchanging holiday.
