Can anyone recommend an easy way to gift wrap a bike?

Peter

I am buying a bike for my son for Christmas. Can anyone recommend an easy way to gift wrap it? At the moment all i've thought of is to stick a bow on it, but that really makes it look like I haven't made an effort. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I recently got back from the UK. While there I always visit Harrods department store. They had a gift wrap for bikes. Made from paper, in the shape of a bike that just drops over the top of it. Really simple, and effective. I picked up 2 while I was there, one for me and one for my neighbour. I can't see them on Harrods website, but the website on the packaging is http://www.bigpaperbag.net

small gift for friend of friend?

Becky

Hi
I need a birthday gift for a friend of a friend. I don't know her well; I've been to a few parties w/ her and to her house twice. Nothing w/ alcohol. She is a lawyer. In her 30s. It's sort of a lesbian group of friends. I just moved to the area & have been invited to join them several times. I'd like to give a little gift; I think if anyone else brings gifts, they will be small, but something useful...any ideas?
i should add that she has a partner, so maybe crothchless panties would be giving the wrong idea...(;

Answer
If you are unable to offer the standard gift of a deluxe edition Rampant Rabbit, then why not find a small ornament, or perhaps a tiny box of high quality chocolates. Think 'understated', selecting something small, but of very good taste. Violet cremes, a tiny bottle of Eau Lente, a chocolate willy from Harrods. Use your imagination, and your best wrapping up skills!
