Christmas gifts for dad?

Q. My dad is hard to buy Christmas gifts for because he claims, as an adult, he really only likes big things such as a motorcycle. But he also added he likes things he wouldn't usually buy for himself. I already got him a nice bottle of whiskey and now I don't know what else to buy him. He is rather cynical and isn't into technology really despite the fact that he is an engineer. For example, he would rake leaves instead of using a "leaf vacume." He also isn't into football. He says "He would rather watch his own kids play." We do go backpacking but he already seems to have every gadget there is! He loves our dog, which is a german shepherd.

Any ideas would be great!

Q. Even though it's only April I'm starting to wonder what I should get my boyfriend for his birthday in June. He's very hard to shop for. I've looked at generators online and only have the basics: male, birthday and price. I do not care about price. I've heard there is a site where you put in their personality information and it gives you a list of ideas.
