My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 3 years and have been an official couple for 1 year. Today I was talking to him about a trip to New York I wanted to go on next year. I just got back from Florida a few days ago, I took my daughter and I to Disney and Seaworld and paid for it on my own from my tax return. I have NEVER asked for any money or any gifts EVER. We do exchange gifts on birthdays and christmas and such though. Today he said to me, "I feel sorry for whoever your husband is going to be." He basically said this because I like to do things like Great America, going out to eat and such.
My question is, have you ever said anything this mean to your girlfriend before and should I make a big deal about him saying this comment or just brush it off?
