Here is the Catch 22 about all of this. You said you recently broke up. Are you interested in getting back together with her? Is she interested in getting back together with you? Women are different from men. Women respond to emotions while men, me included are just plain dumb.
If there are no intentions on your part to ever be with her again, do not buy her a gift. If there are no intentions on her part to get back together with you, again, don't buy a gift. No need to. Maybe one day you two will be friends......this has happened to me.....but being that it is so recent there is no need for it. She could feel suffocated or stalked by you if she does not care to get back into the relationship. It will be a major turn off for her. You will also look desperate. Not a good thing for self esteem. There is the Catch 22.......by not giving her a gift it shows you are confident in yourself and your future. This may be the only turn on for her.
