A good friend of mine adopted a little girl earlier this year and I'd love to be able to get her a gift for Christmas. Funds are a little tight, so I don't want to spend too much, but I love her parents and I love her, so I'd like something special. Any ideas?

I like unusual gifts myself. For my shower, my friends got my the Twilight Sea Turtle. It's by Cloud b. Right now, I'm using it in my daughter's room, but it will go in the nursery once my son in born. It's really neat - I guess you could call it a nightlight, but it's more than just that. Gift for boys under $50?

I need help. I have grandsons 12 and 14. One has a mp3 player. What is out there that all the kids like, something I can afford? I'd like to spend no more than $45. Is there a popular trend right now? Thanks.
I'm afraid Happy is right. They would rather have cash or gift cards. Was just hoping that there might be something a bit more wrapable. Thanks all. judson

Not really anything you can get for under 50 but something that I think is a good idea is a giftcard. I would get them a movie giftcard. Kids are always going to the movies. They dont tend to have jobs at that age so it would be nice if when they went to the movies they dont have to ask for money instead they can just use their card. The cards are good for the consestion bar too.
